Went to an exemption show yesterday and at the end, as there were so many Spanish Water Dogs (about 30) a special best puppy SWD and Best SWD in show and Dilita my 11 yr. old won Best Spanish!!

Anton won Dog the Judge Most like to Take Home in the exemption part!!

So we had a really enjoyable day and the weather was just perfect.

well done.that why there was only 3 at richmond champ on sunday gollie got a 3rd,the two puppies were place but not high,i wasnt showing gollie as it was at the same time as brie at 4.30pm.so liam whos 9 years old took her in,they have a great relivateship together,when she was 6 months at the f/c champ show he took her off to the feilds at mavlen,i could not find them for up to a hour but when i did find them they look so good together and think from that day she loves liam she will go off him with no care in the world,

Dilita was so comical in the run off for best pedigree she started moving perfectly and then in the middle of the run she decided to do a rollover and then got straight back up and started moving perfectly, had everyone in fits of laughter. You see they do get worse as they get older.

Ian did the Spanish Water Dog bit and he said that the top three were Dilita, Zeta and Brio, not bad eh, seeing that they are all my breeding!!! i was so pleased.

When am I going to see you again??? I've missed you this year.

It's a shame that we can't show, as I said 30 turned up at this fun show, it was the most I've ever seen in one go and it was lovely to see.

Hopefully the KC will accept us as a rare breed soon, but there again they don't seem to know what we should be. After 11 years as gundogs I hope that they don't take us off as they've tried to before, because some people have worked very hard in the gundog field and recently many gundog people have bought pups from us. I know that I for one will be annoyed if yet again they change their minds!!!
