I have a mini schnauzer and would really like to learn how to groom him myself. Anyone know of any good short courses that teach how to do this (he is clipped rather than stripped). Or does anyone know a mini schnauzer breeder that teaches. Preferably in the Midlands area. Thanks

Don't know how far you would be prepared to travel but I could possibly help you out.

PS Thanks for your comments on my undocked boy

My nearest Agricultural College does courses for pet owners to learn grooming techniques, perhaps yours does too. Mine is in rural Northumberland, so no good to you.

The College I was refering to is Kirkley Hall near Ponteland. I would imagine they'll be in the phone book. I saw the details of the course on my vets notice board. Maybe your vet has the same poster up, as your in Newcastle.
