Hi,
She is being over excited and over friendly - typical teenage dog!!!
I would suggest teach her to sit when greeting people and give the person a treat to give her, BUT only if she sits. Then teach her to give paw, then her greeting will be to sit and give paw instead of grabbing and mouthing.
Don't get cross with her, just be patient and reward the good behaviour.
Good luck

She's being quite a typical Stafford from the sounds of things but she does need to be taught that greeting people in this way isnt acceptable .

Our Ridgeback did this a lot as a pup - it was his way of giving a hug to say hello - he was very gentle , but as said already it is not to be encouraged, and you do need to correct the behaviour. Our lad grew out of it ( or prehaps our corrections worked!!).
I wouldn't worry - just be firm at saying no , and discourgaing it. We ignored our dog ( no verbal communication or eye contact ) everytime he did this, and the praise and attention when he stopped - he soon got the message.
