I have been given a beautiful 4yr old Basset dog through a private rescue. I have been given incomplete pedigree information. I am trying to find the original breeder of this dog so that I can register him. The original owner of this Basset said that she got him from a breeder in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, but I can't find one there. The information I have is this:

Date of Birth 12/2/99

Sire - Garmichlay Academus - Grand Sire, Bassbar O'Sullivan - Grand Dam, Barratine Dolly Day Dream

Dam - Peelies Drifter - Grand Sire, King Clement - Grand Dam, Scorpion Girl

Any info out there about my new dog would be gratefully recieved. Please contact me at peggy.race@virgin.net

Cheers,

Peggy

King Clement and Garmichlay Academus is a well known stud dogs used in the puppy farm trade !!
You can try contacking the Basset club has they might be able to help you out more!!!
But you may not be able to do much about it now!!!

Hate to tell you this, there are a few "Puppy Farms" in that area.
