Hi Everybody,
Please could anyone help me with the following questions on my 3 month old Beagle....
1) I am feeding 1 handfull of high quality Puppy food 4 times a day - is this enough as he seems to finish quickly?
2) He has a decent sized enclosure that I keep him in when I'm out and when I'm sleeping (I live in Korea so I sleep on the floor!) but he cries allot? Anything I can do?
3) Tips on training? - I have successfully taught him the meaning of "No" and "Sit" but I would like tips on - Come, stay, give a paw, roll over etc...
4) What are the pros and Cons of leaving him "intact" so he can breed?
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks

I can't thank you enough Gerard, if only I'd thought of that. It just goes to show what valuable advice a "novice" can take from someone "more experienced" with Dogs.
Is there anything else I should "read a book" on?
I eagerly await your next supercilious remark.

Handfuls vary in size - my hand is probably much smaller than yours for example - could you weigh his normal portion and tell us how much he normal meal weighs? Most dogs eat very quickly - it's part of living in a pack...
How often are you out, and how long for? If you are working full time and he's also in his crate for sleeping at night, this is potentially a very long time.......
TRaining tips - actually reading a book is probably very good advice, I don't know what titles are available to you in Korea - but I believe Ian Dunbar shouldn't be too difficult to obtain......
