For many years to sort out if my bitches was in whelp was useing a Pendent!!!
By holding it over the bitch if it went up and down she would be in whelp if going round and round she was not.
The reason is the male gene makes it go up and down or stright!! Female goes round !!
Try it out on yourselfs hold it over your hand try both male and female friends it works!!
When useing on the bitch place it over the tummy or back bottom end it picks up the male gene in the bitch works on dogs too try it on them.

Then try holding it over an inanimate object

Perhaps that is why the French have genders for all objects :-)

My vet used this method as a free method of PD'ing!

Hi,
During each of my three pregnancies I used a needle on a piece of cotton - my first was a boy, and the needle swung back and forth, the other two were girls, and the needle went round in a circle. My friend told me about this some years ago - back in the forties when her father was a farm worker, that is how they used to sex the eggs prior to hatching. Something to do with magnetic fields that we (and animals) have. Quite amazing really.

This happened the same with my best friend when she was pregnant.
She was told...from the scan that she was having a boy......but when she tried the needle thing it went round in circles....and guess what??? She had a girl!!!
I never believed all of that..but I found this really weird!
