Does anybody know where I can purchase worming tablets in large amounts? Costs an absolute fortune at the vets for my dogs, so could do with a cheaper way of buying them.

Hi Becky
You can get a litre of Panacur liquid (10% sheep and cattle wormer ) for about £60, that Panacur tell me is the same as the dog version (but check for yourself to be sure) from agricultural merchants. As it is a drug they will require you to give your name and address and you may have to own some sheep to get it. My local one now knows me and are happy that I use it for my dogs as I can get though a litre a year.

Hi Christine
Can you tell me what dosage you give this panacur 10% sheep wormer at. If it is the same as the Panacur 10% for dogs is the dosage the same as the dosage for dogs or the dosage on the bottle. Any info would be much appreciated.
Tapooka
Hi
Use the dosage for dogs, the manufacturers will send you a leaflet if you don't have one. Don't use the dosage for sheep and cattle as it is quite different.

Hi
Canine Chemists...(sorry haven't learned how to do links!) sell wormers in bulk, online, so do VetMedic. One of them doesn't charge postage for wormers either...not sure which one.
