Topic Dog Boards / General / Rescue remedy?

Hello,
Before I go to run in agility, especially in a final. I've heard of "rescue remedy" which I think's a calming tablet? or something similar. Has anyone ever taken anything similar to this, and has it had the desired calming effects? After running in a final today and my dog being let done by my nerves, I'm starting to feel desperate!

It tastes like alcohol, so may as well just have a sip of brandy! Works just the same :)

Try Kalms (holland and barrett) they are the same sort of thing, I know loads of people who use them to chill out to enable them to sleep, so they should work - although brandy sounds better !!

Dorwest sale a product called Skullcap and Valerian, it's supposed to do the same thing, not sure though as I've never had to use it, yet!
