If you have no preference, then when you go to see a litter, choose the puppy you like best (or the one that likes you best!). It is entirely a matter of personal choice.

Speaking generally, bitches are inclined to PMT and dogs to being pushy. So it is a matter of teaching your dogs that kids are people (difficult to believe I know) and that the must be respected.
