My westie is going to have puppies soon , I was wondering if her new found habits of defacating all over my house are a symtom of her pregnancy?

Yes, the pups could be pressing on the bowel and not giving her much warning it won't be her fault so please don't think of punishing her, welcome to the world of breeding :)
