I have just been given 2 Thai street puppies, both about 6 weeks old but not from the same mother. It was a total surprise to me, though it was known that I wanted to get a dog, preferably a homeless one. My question is whether or not I can possibly take adequate care of these 2 babies, or should I turn one over to a shelter (where it will most likely be put down)? I really can't bring myself to allow one of the puppies to be destroyed. I have taken early retirement and will be able to spend a good portion of every day with the dogs, and I already have made arrangements for their care when I am out of the country. Still, I am not certain that my projected course of action is the correct one, or even whether or not it is possible to train 2 female puppies at once. I would appreciate any sound advice on this matter from true dog lovers. Obviously breed and status are of no concern to me. RRDBKK

Guest, this isn't a breed of dog (?) that we are familiar with in the UK. Would you like to register and give us more information about your puppies? Personally, I wouldn't advise anyone to take on two puppies at the same time from any breed :-)

I think guest means strays off the street in Thailand....rather than a new breed!

That is why I put a question mark next to it ;-)
