hi ive got a boxer bitch of 17mths , i have had her since she was 8 weeks old but she has recently got worse at stealing things i.e. videos, teddys , remote control anything she can really !! she then hides under the table with it and wont give it back and she can become aggresive please can anyone give some advice on how to stop this .

First of all - don't leave things where she can get them.........

Secondly, when she does steal something she's getting attention - make sure she's getting attention when she's being good as well. Then, when she does steal something have a Kong or something similar which she will regard as 'high value' and show her it - ask for a 'sit' (if she's trained) and swop the Kong for whatever she has got........ Make sure your body language isn't threatening to her - this doesn't mean don't shout or the sorts of things a human might regard as threatening, but drop your shouldars, get down as low as her, or lower, don't look directly at her, turn your head away -these are all doggie signals which will tell her 'I don't intend to be agressive' and she then shouldn't feel pushed into reacting agressively........
