We have recently got a lab puppy (got him at 7wks - now 11 wks) and most of time is doing good but just a couple of probs you may be able to help with.
1. Toilet training: He can be outside for ages then come into the room and wee!! I tell him no and pick him up and take him out. Don't know if I've caused him some confusion by taking him out of different doors at different times. What should I do?
2. Sleeping: We've got up with him once through the night to let him out - usually when we hear him yapping- and he has wee or poo or sometimes both. Sometimes he's already wee'd in kitchen, but that's not a major problem. My question is - should we still be getting up with him through the night. Last night I went to bed at 10, got up at 2am with him then he was yapping again at 4am. I didn't give in to him that time and he quietened down again after a while. Is this normal - you may guess it's the first time I've had a puppy.
