I mated my bitch nearly three weeks ago, she is still slightly swollen and there is now a white`ish` discharge, she is eating well and seems OK in herself. Is this normal? Is it a good sign? Thank you for some advice

Take her to the vet and get a course of antibioctics you may have an infection
my girls had this, after they were mated, someone told me that if this happen then they are pregant, and wen this happen to my girls they were, and it is nomal,if it was a infection it may be brown to a green in colour and smelly.

My girl had a milky coloured discharge after her 2nd season and thought that she may have been pregnant consulted the vet who said that it was an infection of the womb and treated with antibiotics for 2 weeks, you need to get this checked out because if it is an infection and is not treated it could mean that you could end up having yo have her spayed. I kept my dogs apart for 31 days to make sure that they did not mate but still had her checked after 4 weeks and vet could not feel anything this was 48 days ago and no signs or changes so I can hopefully say that she is not pregnant but what signs would I be looking for her teats are a little swollen at the back but this happened in her previous season, but any comments please
