Hi Guest,
SNAP - We're getting a blue male Dane puppy as well :) :)
He's three weeks old this week and we're having exactly the same problems with names for him!
That's brill - it'd be great if you registered as I'd love to know how you get on with your puppy and what you finally decide to call him!

Well... you could go to Google & type in "famous Danes" - you'll get a list of about 1,000 "famous" danes - ranging from Hans Christian Anderson to Roodrup!!

Only me - I don't know whether that was a case for wishful thinking or not.... but he's only two weeks old tomorrow :)
Oh well - going to see him in a fortnight - Can't wait!

Hiya Archer,
I know that feeling :) My lot can't agree on anything... What do you think about Solomon? My hubby mentioned that last night and I have to say that it's growing on me, that or Diesel are the favourites of the day.

FENTON, it inspires the image of a rather noble, handsome aristocratic character, and the Dane definately looks the part!

Oooh Archer, I love the name Taran.

Do you mind if I write that down? My next litter (not for another 12/18 months yet) are going to have names beginning with 'T' So, I'm trying to find names now!! It was ridiculous with my last 7...they all had 'S' names and it took us aaages to think of them!!

Take care

Hi Lisa,

What did you have for A's then and what breed do you have?
- By Lisa-safftash [gb] Date 28.08.03 23:02 UTC
Hi Kaz,

I haven't had any 'A's The 'S' litter was my first!!

Okay...a bit weird, but I thought 'S' names would be easier to think of.......I was wrong!!
For 'S's though, I had Saskia, Skyla,Spectra, and Bria (couldn't think of another S) those are the girls, and for the boys, there's Sirius, Sancho, and Stentor (hubby's choice)

I have GSD's.

Take care

Good luck with your boy. My blue dane is a year old and he's called Willis :)

I have a Solomon, known as SolliSod or The Sod. so be warned.
Also have a Saxon, Sexy Saxi or SaxiWaxi.

We spend hours thinking and arguing about what to call a puppy and then the first thing we do is change it.

Also have a puppy on order, same litter as Archer I think, and I thought, because of the colour, of Ash. But since then every time I switch the TV on there is a character called Ash, so may be not.
