Do you clean her teeth? There are proper dog-toothpastes, and most dogs can be taught to accept having their teeth cleaned. Just think what your breath would be like if you never cleaned your teeth!!

yes, when she lets me get near her with the brush...lol... but the problem is, the "poultry" flavoured tooth paste, smells of poultry!...lol... its discusting!

I always use doggy Tea Tree Toothpaste, its not very smelly but seems to deal with doggy breath very well.

Logic tooth gel - available from your vet or Canine Chemist (postage free if you order wormer as well). Squeeze a little on the dogs tongue each day. They seem to like the taste and it worked for my bitch whilst she was still cleaning up after her babies. Brushing is still necessary, but it is easier as the Logic softens the tartar and does keep the teeth cleaner.

Monty seems to go mad for extra strong mints.
I don't encourage it but boy, makes him smell much nicer :)

a raw meaty bone, raw chicken wing or chicken carcass every couple of days will soon have her teeth sparkly white again!

My three are all raw fed, all have breath u can actually breathe in, doesnt smell at all! and whiter than white teeth, even the 5 year old......and no, only the 10 month old pup was fed raw from the start, the other two have been on it just over a year!

Are you sure there is not a rotten tooth lurking at the back of the mouth, the other thing that can cause bad breath in dogs is blocked anal glands. Ask the Vet to check them out for you. Of course it could just be diet related.
