MY LAB PUP DOESN'T STOP EATING! SHE IS 10 WEEKS OLD AND SHE'S ONLY ALLOWED 2 POUCHES OF PEDIGREE CHUM A DAY AND SOME BICCY'S. WE NOW HAVE TO LOCK HER IN THE KITCHEN SO SHE DOESN'T TRY TO STEAL OFF OUR PLATES. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS MAYBE DUE TO WORMS AS WE CAN'T GET HER BOOKED INTO THE VETS UNTIL NEXT MONDAY AND HE HAS TOLD US NOT TO GIVE HER THE ONES IN THE PET SHOP AS THEY ONLY WORK ON CERTAIN BREEDS. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

how many times a day are you feeding her?

At 10 weeks old she will still be on four meals a day - are you splitting the pouches and mixer into these smaller quantities? Lots of small meals for puppies.

hi,
she should be on four meals a day, so i am not surprized that she is trying to steal food from your plate , shes probably really starving hungry. i always feed any pups that we have had at Breakfast time , lunch time , tea time , and supper time ect.
i would think that for a lab puppy, 2 pedigree chum pouches a day is probably too small a feed for her , if it was me i would probably be giving her one pouch per meal , so i would be feeding her four of these pouches per day with a little puppy mixer, plus treats for training.

Hi Guest
When you say "allowed" is that your allowance that YOU have set, or the recommendation of the breeder??

I agree with the other poster's, the pup should be having a at least 3-4 meals a day.
