If your vet is anything like mine he'll need a reminder! Don't forget he has masses of other clients, so don't assume he'll remember your dog.

Well sorry if you do not like my comments but in all fairness I would not leave my children in bed with no adult present. You did say you got up to the dog so obviously your mom was not there when the dog showed the first signs.
I hope everything goes well with the birth. When a bitch is expecting the pups do not always come exactly on the 63rd day and most breeders would not leave thier pregnant bitch for long throughout the last week :-)
