hi. my dog has just had pups. i would like to know how many times they should be wormed from when they are puppies and when they are adult. and what about diarrea? do they need medicene to prevent this too and when do they need it? thankyou.

Your vet is the best person to ask for this, because you will need to get the wormers from him (pet shop ones aren't very good). He will also give the pups a general check for cleft palate, etc (unless you've done that already?)

Can I ask a question, does the worming of pups depend on the worming routine of the dam.

Hi
i do my puppies with Panacur 10% av from vets, about £22 for 100ml, i worm mine at 2 weeks of age( this is a 3 day course) and again at 5 weeks( again 3 day course) and then at 7 weeks(again 3 day course) then vet will advise new owners when they take puppy for there check up and first jab.

Alderman, if you don't mind me saying, this is not the best way to find a puppy. A lot of these post are from very inexperienced breeders, even accidental breeders. It is a rottie you are looking for isn't it? I think that is a breed that you have to be particularly careful where you get a puppy from ensuring they are from the best temperament parents that have been hip scored and whatever else is recommended. You would do much better contacted breed clubs and asking for breeders that fit that criteria.

What is going on why does this person keep asking about different breeds of pups this just goes to show that some people never learn or are the pups for resale? it sounds very iffy to me or silly.
