I have got a beardie who is nearly four years old (Spot) but ever since i can remember he has had a tendancy to have regular upset stomachs. This is becoming more frequent. We only feed him on dried food (currently on "Burns" ) but he will react to this shortly. During his bad periods we feed him on Chicken and pasta but he tends to react to this after a couple of days.
Has anyone any advise on what we can do to resolve this problem?
Please advise

If all fails, have you tried him on green tripe and biscuit meal i think that will help him. Also what has your vet told you about his condition.
Hi, I`d try him on a raw diet myself but you`ll need to do some research on it first. Theres a beardie group, addy below, you might like to join for more info. Good luck & let us know how you get on.

It doesn't seem very popular in some quarters but my Dandie who has a horrible history of colitis does very well on Beta. Another food with a reputation for being gentle on tummies is Chappie, tinned anyway, not so sure about their dry one.

What tests has your vet done ? Modern beardies seem to have a tendency to have problems with digestion
Have you tried rice instead of pasta & white fish instead of chicken ? The rice cooked in the fish stock

When I got Monty we had problems with Beta. I have changed him to Bakers complete and he is a changed man!! Also he gets one packet of pedigree meat with rice each day and now has solid dooings
