Could somebody please tell me what exactly is Kennel cough?, What are the signs/symptoms,How is it caught? and is there any thing i should be doing to protect my litter from it?Sorry for so many questions but i have heard the term but have never really been sure exactly what it is

Hi Brinny, runny nose dry cough sore throat sick but only bringing up bile, watery eyes every thing that we get with flu.hope that helps if people are coming to see pups put a foot bath out side dip shoes/feet or spray you can buy the stuff from vets or send away for it.

Its an airborne virus similar to the common cough. A dry harsh cough, "sometimes" accompanied by runny eyes/nose. Dogs are usually still well within themselves. Dogs can catch it ANYWHERE. In the street, park, training class, dog shows, vet surgeries, kennels, basically anywhere. It is incredibly contagious.
