Dogs, eh!
Over the years I've learned not to expect all dogs to get on perfectly. My lot meet loads of other dogs during the week (I suppose the 'gang' numbers about 30, but they don't all meet at the same time!). Some they play with, some they ignore. Some dogs like one or two, but not all, of mine. One dog likes Harry, but hates Piglet. Another gets on with Piglet, but wants to eat Harry. Over the years they have all learned to rub along okay, with only the occasional 'words' flying between them.
I would guess Scamp was jealous of Morse playing with "his" friend, so shouted rude things at Morse, so Morse shouted back. As long as you all (dogs included) parted friends all should be well. It would be good if you could meet up with Scamp (and his owner!) on the street somewhere, and walk to the park (or wherever you let them off) together. By the time they get let off they will be used to each other's proximity and
shouldn't be particularly interested in each other, and would rather go and sniff.
They're all young together, so all should be well. Good luck - hope any of my rambling helps!
