Has a rule a simple anwser NO cant see the point in putting brother and sister togather some people put helf brother and sisters esp in a breed where there are well known stud dogs if your bitch is by a certern top dog you may want to use another from the same sire or out of the same bitch but differnt sires.

It would in my opinion a big no-no except in exeptional curcumstances, you would be doubling up on any defects in there pedigree, plus a lot of people beleive that it can affect there mental development.I know it has been done a couple of times in one of the breeds that I have been associated with and the effects were not good, the hip scores were out of this world.Although in this same breed people think nothing of breeding from bitch's with 50+ hip scores when the average is 14.even if the bitch has done no winning. It is illegal in people why should we think it would be acceptable for our animals

Do you mean 'can' as "is it possible", or as "should I"?

Two totally different questions. The first is, yes it is possible to mate brother and sister. Whether it is advisable or not is a completely different matter. If you do not know absolutely everything there is to know about their genetic background, the temperaments and health of all their ancestors, then it would be a very risky thing to do.
