Hello Everybody,

Jane requested i post this, we took in the bulldog that she saw at the local rescue , but however he is in a mess , we have bathed him , but he has an awful lot of tearstain around his eyes which will not budge.
Me and Jane have a bit of an arguement going at the moment , she has suggested that we use Optrex to remove it , but however i dont think it it safe to , is this safe ?
He is a bit nervy , but we have experienced no aggression from him so far , he is a beautiful dog , seems to be enjoying the company so far , he likes the other dogs , but he is not sure about the cats.
I really should put more faith into Jane , but i dont like seeing anything done , which i think might hurt our animals, but she seems to know whats she is doing most of the time , LOL.

So will Optrex be okay?

I am quite sure you can use Optrex to help remove tear stains.

I am pleased you took this little man in and I hope he helps you both as much as
you are helping him :-)

thats really good of you. i hope he settles in soon. i think optrex is safe but have never used it so cant be 100% sure. if you dont mind me asking- how is jane? hope she is doin ok.

As I've 2 bullies of my own , I know that if the tear stains won't budge try gently washing aruond the area with No more Tears Johnsons Baby shampoo , then to prevent the stains re-appearing once cleaned apply a little vaseline on the crease , this should help !
