Both my 2 westies were lined last week within 6 days of each other on one on its 13th and 15th day the other younger girl on its 12th and 14th day, both had a good tie. They are now both loosing a brown discharge, is this normal? Both have been quiet since lining. The older bitch which is just 5 years old has already had 2 litters.

Take them both to the vet asap. What a lot of Westie questions from new posters recently!!

Did you use the same sire on both bitchs? if so he may have had an infection esp if he is used a lot you need to get them all on antibiotic ASAP.
You may be lucky and save the pups but the longer you leave it the more harm will be done.

Did you have swaps done before the mateing.and was the stud dog certified clear by his vet, you have to be 100% clear when you mate your dogs

Did you take them to the vet?

Took them to the vet on friday, he said they looked ok.

The dog that I took them to is the only dog that my friend now has and he has very little contact, if any with other dogs.
