Hi All,

I've got a 4 mth old cocker spaniel- who soon will need to be groomed. However I am worried about where to take him, as you hear such horror story's! I am based in Birmingham. Does anyone know of any good groomers in the Birmingham area, or a website where I can find one.

Many Thanks

Claire

Hi Claire

Why dont you learn to do it yourself ? are you still in touch with the breeders and would they show you how it is done, thats what i did when i got buffy ( blue roan cocker ) they were very helpfull and now i have just about perfected it, yes you make mistakes but you learn from them and it always grows back :D

Hi Diane,

I have tried contacting Homer's breeders- but they're not being very helpful. They haven't seemed to want to know about him since we got him from then- nice people.

I suppose I could do it myself, but am a bit worried unless someone showed me how to do it first. We've tried clipping his claws and he hates it. We always get scared incase we hurt him too.

He loves being groomed, but know we really need to cut the fur, around his paws especially, as it's getting so long.

Thanks
