Have you thought about using a crate while she is going through the chewing stage it saves all your thing being chewed to death, my boy had one until he grew out of it and most of the time he would lay in it when it was open it was his hidy hole, dogs are always worse on the lead because they have you at the other end of it backing them up it does sound like she is a little nervous if you know the dog is not going to chase her then let her off the lead to say hello, do you take her to classes? she sounds like she needs plenty of socialisation with other dogs on and off lead, if she is barking at dogs out in the street when you are walking her then as soon as she goes to do it try to get her attention on something else, does she have a favourite toy you could take out with her? get her focused on that when you are passing another dog and plenty of praise,
Hope this is of some help

hi there personal i think dog crates are great for training purposes, especially during the teething stage,my 2 pups have there own crates and use them most of the time as there own den,i also put them in there when i have to pop out shopping etc, never leave them in there for to long as i think its very unfair.

Buster cubes are also an excellent way for active dogs to stay amused for a while. You fill them with v.small biscuit ( you may have to buy some specially if the biscuit you use is large- I use the complete cat food - but mine dont have them every day and have strong stomachs. Best to get dog biscuit- perhaps a puppy mixer biscuit - if you are going to use it daily. The dog takes ages to roll them around to get the goodies out. Great if you have to go out for an hour or so without them. It satifies their hunt for food instinct, some people feed their dogs like this - putting the meals worth in a bowl and re filling the cube til its gone. Make sure you get a big one.
