hi everyone, not many of you would have heard about these incidents as they have all happened in northern ireland were i live.in the past couple of weeks there has been a surge of dog cruelty cases on the news over here.the latest one happened last night in londonderry.a woman was out walking her springer when a group of "men" approached her,one of them took her dog of her and through it over a wall which had a 30 foot drop on the other side.the poor dog suffered a broken pelvis and severe shock but according to the news report tonight he is going to be ok.there were 2 other cases last week one were a pensioners house was burgled and her little terrier had her throat slit and bled to death the secind one was when a man who was out walking his dog came accross a lab that had been hug from a tree and left to die.what kind of sick people do these sort of things there must be something seriously wrong with them.even if they were to be caught, which i doubt, they would probably escape a custodial sentence which is amazing.

I am one of those who believe that the guilty party should recieve the same treatment I'm afraid .
Lets see if this kind of thing then continues to increase !!!!!

I agree - give them the same treatment.
How can they be allowed to get away with it?
It's unbelievable !

And, as has been shown many times, if they can commit gross acts against animals they tend to go onto people.

I'm with Lel, Dollface, Bailliesmum, and Poodlebabe...

Give them the same treatment and then see if this cruelty carries on. I guarantee it wouldn't.

I just feel so sorry for these dogs and their owners. I wouldn't be able to cope with something like that. It's awful.

Take care all

Lisa
