On the news just now John Barrett MP for Edinburgh West is campaiging to ban UK imports of dog and cat skin products and quite right too! I hope others will join me in lobbying their MP in support of such a ban.

I done this a few months ago but nothing much happend, if you go shopping ( London) or any big city you can find clothes coats made from Golden Retreiver skins or Gsd lots of dog and cat toys are made with cat skins look out for them in pet shops dont buy anything with fur

Urk! that is as sick as the stuff I read on a website about how they tested dog food on live dogs and I cant watch the well known pet food ad on TV featuring smiling staff and happy dogs running about the garden before tucking into huge bowls of the product without chucking a matchbox at the screen.Corso girl its about the drips of water wearing away the stone .......

ugh that's disgusting I have never ever heard of such a thing. I hope this gets banned and fast.

There are pics of the trade so be carefull when you log in it may change your views on China!!!
Also it is beleaved that some dog chews for Asia is made out of Dog and Cat skins has along with the trade in Cats in baskets that is popping up in gift shops thoughtout the county .They try to pass them off has rabbit fur but anyone can see it is REAL cat fur they use.

Just ask yourselves - how many live tabby rabbits have you seen?.
