Hi
I have wormed my pups for the first time at 3 weeks, Panacur 10% liquid over 3 days. I gave them the last on saturday. But i notice some are still sitting in the position ready to scrape along as dogs do with worms. Does this mean it has not worked? Is there anything else i can do other than wait until the next lot at 5 weeks?

Hi

i worm my pups at 3 weeks with panacur aswell, i wouldnt worm again as you might over dose them, i would wait till 5 weeks like the instructions tell you, maybe they are just sitting and you are thinking more into it as you are worried about it.

best of luck!!!!

Dogs don't normally rub their backsides on the ground through worms - its usually their anal glands... talk to your vet :)

Maybe they are just a little tender after the worming. Its awfully early for anal gland probs imo, (no offense intended). As long as they are boouncy and happy and eating well I would worm then again as per instructions and if its still happening after a second worming then get vets advice. Dont take them to the surgery unless you have to, there could be a puppy with Parvo/ e coli sitting beside you!!

true - it is early. if you are worried, take them to the vets in the back of the car maybe - and, as WL says, don't take them in!! :)
