My bitch is 57 days pregnant today and I was wondering if it's normal for them to have loose stools right now. She has had them for the past 3 days. Is this a sign that whelping is near? And if so, how long is it usually after the loose stools that I can expect the pups? Thanks!!!!

Dont worry too much unless there is blood in the stools its the bitch clearing herself out in readyness for the birth she will also go off her food too.Just keep an eye on here looks like they may be here early?

When you say "go off her food", do you mean she'll quit eating altogether or she'll just pick here and there? She isn't really eating much today. She just takes a couple of bites and walks away from it. Thanks so much for your help.
