Hi, Me again!
Could anyone recommend a dog-friendly hotel in North Cornwall, or know of a decent website where we can find one?
Thanks,
Tracy

Al went on a walking holiday to Cornwall two years ago, taking Gypsy with him & he stayed in dog friendly hotels all week - when he's around, I'' get the details & email them to you.

Hi - me again
Al went through a company called www.adventureline.co.uk (Martin Hunt runs it). If you can find this website, it will have Martin's telephone number - he is very helpful and should be able to let you know of the hotels he uses. They are based in St Agnes Head. The hotel Al stayed in (in St Agnes Head) was a small one - he said good food, very friendly people who love dogs!

We stayed at Carnevas Farm Holiday Park at Porthcothan, just 'beyond' Padstow. It is the most beautiful area with lovely, dog-friendly beaches. The campsite is brilliant - beautifully maintained and well-run. There are caravans, chalets or flats for rent, or you can take your own caravan or tent (dogs welcome, on leads). I'd highly recommend it (it's the only place we've returned to!)

Hello Tracy!
We spent a brilliant two weeks in the Spring this year at a caravan site called Mother Ivey's Bay Caravan Park, at Trevose Head just south of Padstow.
We'd always stayed in cottages/flats before but decided to give this a try. It was by far the best caravan site we could find. It is right on the cliff path, really only seconds from the sea and has a lovely beach with access only from the Park or the cliff path.
No caravan is older than 3 years and they are really kitted out beautifully. The Park is very quiet- no restaurant, pub, or entertainment, which suited us as we like it quiet.
We will probably be returning in 2004, maybe this time for 3weeks. It's along way to travel from Frankfurt area, 2 days, but with lots of stops and a super overnight near the tunnel in Kent, Polly was very good indeed.

Enjoy wonderful Cornwall !
