EVERY TIME I TAKE MY 8MONTH OLD RUSSELL TERRIER DOG OUT HE CANNOT SEEM TO CONTROL HIS BACK LEGS ,HE WILL FLICK THEM UP IN THE AIR WHEN RUNNING AND THEN HE WILL SLIP AND APPEAR CLUMSY AND COLLAPSE AND NOT GET UP TO WALK BACK HOME.I TOOK HIM TO THE VETS AND THEY SAID THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIS NERVOUS SYSTEM. DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF HE WILL GROW OUT OF IT OR IF THERE IS SOMETHING I CAN BUY OFF THE SHELF TO HELP HIM

I used to walk a little Scottie puppy which did exactly the same thing! I'd take him on the park and he would run with his back legs flicking up every so often in the air. The owners took him to the vet and they said it wasn't causing him any pain at all. He just didn't have very good coordination! I don't know what they did about it but my advice would be to go back and talk more with your vet or more experienced people who can actually see him doing it and they would probably be better at helping you. I wouldn't worry about it. As I said it wasn't causing him any pain.
Talk to your vet and good look with him :)
Don't mean to be rude cassie&ollie, but could you please spell properly as it is hard to read. :p
