Hello,
I know that many will think this an imposition (possibly thoroughbreed?) but we are looking for a cross breed bearded collie. We would love to purchase a dog-puppy and give it a good home up her in Norfolk. could anyone help. or point us in the right direction?
kind regards, Teresa Bradford

Wonder if the guest is looking for what is know as a Working Beardie ? If the dog is wanted for a pet then why the cross, and what with, and what for. Beardies make good pets as they are. Still as it is a guest, I don't supose we will every know how their mind is working.

Hi
I don't know if you subscribe to any of the dedicated dog monthly magazines - Your Dog, Dog's Today etc but in the back section they usually list details of who to contact up and down the country for specific breeds. You may be lucky and get a x breed through them.
Don't know why you particularly want a Beardie X but can understand that you do. I have a beardie/irish wolfhound x and a Beardie. They are the tops. Both are rescue dogs - the first from a dogs home - the city pound and the second one I found through a rescue home but the dog was still with its owner who was relunctant to put the dog in a home. That dog was 11 months old when I got him and had had 5 homes in that time. He was a little wild at first but soon settled down. There was no aggression, no destructiveness he was just full of energy, fun and intelligence. They are a wonderful breed so I hope you are lucky enough to get what you want.
