ive been wondering if this is okay, my 5 month old golden retriever has been with my family and i for the summer and we havent really left his side for that long... but as summer ends and school and work starts the kids will go to school and i will go to work.... BUT!!! we do have a house cleaner that seems to like and enjoy dogs and she will be with him for most of the day, but he will be by himself for a couple hours...so around from 8 to 11 he will be with the house cleaner, then the house cleaner leaves at around 11, and the kids will come home at around 2:30... IS THIS OKAY?!?! i have been having SOO much anxiety about leaving the pup...:( wow i love him so much! i think hes the best, but every owner thinks that their dog is the best! lol! anyways... please help me and tell me if this is okay or not!!! thank you soo much! and i will be checking up on it quit frequently! THANKS!!!!

It must be very few people indeed who never leave their dogs at all .
11 until 2.30 is ok but the problem will be what sort of time he will spend with the cleaner ? Obviously she will have work to do . Will she be able to take him for a short walk or to play with him ? will you be ableto ask her to do this and possibly pay her if the need arises ? How does your cleaner interact with pup at the moment ? Its not ideal if she is only cleaning while you are all out and pup isnt bothered with during her time there .
If not you may need to think about a dog walker .
Make sure pup has plenty of toys (and a kong maybe) to keep him occupied
