I am looking for a well bread, good tempered, hip scored and eye tested border collie pup, preferably with some working lines. To be kept as a family pet and for agility.

Please send any information to tresilla@kernow.net

If you are in the UK you will not get a hip scored puppy, they have to be at least 12 months to be hip scored and then you have to wait for the result, in the USA I dont think it is done until the dog is 2 years old. Why not try the breed rescue who may have a working dog that have the tests you require. You did not say if you wanted it trained too, if you find a young dog that fits all your requirements it is going to cost a pretty penny unless you go to a rescue.

Hi chaps-

Can I just ask WHY you want a collie with working lines in it? Excuse me if you're an experienced collie owner, but if you're not, do you realise that a collie with working lines in it will have to have extra excercise and mental stimulation

sorry about that- my kids keep pressing the 'post' key. Where was I, oh I remember, a working stock dog will have to have EVEN MORE exercise and mental stimulation than a show type collie. They can be pretty destructive if they dont get it!.

If you have had collies before, then I suggest you try the agility websites or the working trials web sites as you sometimes have pups advertised on them.

Good luck
