My small cocker spaniel bitch is still spotting occasionally with blood a month from starting her season.She seems fit and well. It has been just over a year since she was last in season. She is due to go into kennels very soon so I don't want to be leaving her with a possible problem . I have another bitch of similar age and up to a week ago they had been trying to mount one another but that has stopped so is she no longer fertile but having an extra long season I wondered if the dreaded pymetra had similar symptoms?
