hi all my new addition a 19 week old border collie,there is only problem with her and it the fact that she barks like crazy when playing with my other dogs,ive had border collies in the past but never had this trouble before please some one help its giving me a headache,any advice would be greatfully recived.

Hi, can't offer any advice, but i also have a 16 week old retriever who does exactly the same thing. She barks a lot when playing with my collie, and barks even more at unfamiliar dogs whether she wants to play or not. Maybe some dogs just show their excitement through barking. Don't know how to stop it though.

hi its really stange because she only dose it with my dogs not others in park or along the street,im just worried incase my neighbours complain because it can get very loud.

I have 5 dogs and mine always bark at each other and me if i don't throw their toy quick enough
it isn't a habit that bothers me but if you wanted to stop her say to her quiet and bring her away and when shje uis quiet treat her you could also try teaching her with a clicker if you type in clicker training on ask jeeves or another searh enjine you should get some sites come up
