Hi, I still have the conjunctivitis problem. Mum has cleared up but baby (7 months) looks very sore eyed. Trouble is, it is virtually impossible to get near her with the eye drops. I have resorted to waiting until she is asleep, and quickly pulling up an eyelid and dropping in drops. But then she is wide awake and won' t let me near the other eye. We tried with two of us holding her but she got so upset we had to abandon that.
Anyone with any bright ideas please.

I don't know what breed they are - but have you tried wrapping the 'baby' in a towel? By doing this carefully you can disable all four legs and get much better control over what becomes a sausage <G> It's always worked well for me with my cats.....

If it is a medium sized dog already then I have found that sitting them between you knees while you are crouching (so they cannot back out), with one arm across the chest, with that hand holding the pups muzzle down towards its chest, then Use the other hand to Open eyes and Put in drops. the Last bit works well with a helper.
