Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Where to get Haemophilia tests done.
- By Krys [gb] Date 11.08.03 10:19 UTC
I am trying to get my GSD tested for Haemophilia and the telephone number of the chap that did the testing on another of our dogs several years ago is now unobtainable. Our vets our proving useless and we are struggling to get any answers on who can do the test. If anyone one does have a information or a number that I could try it will be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Beck

Try putting The Animal Health Trust in a search engine. they should prove helpful as they do all manner of DNA tests, and will be able asvise how to getit done.

Try http://www.gsdbreedcouncil.uk.com/home.htm

John does not do the tests anymore but if you contact the site they will able to point you in the right direction

Hi Moonmaiden

We contacted the breed council this morning and spoke to Isobel. She gave us Johns number as the man to do the test. Is there anyone else doing them now in his place do you know?
