He shouldn't be clipped if you intend to show him as in your other post he should be handstripped

Then I would recommend you contact his breeder and get their advice. If they are local to you they may be prepared to show you how to prepare him for show or if not may be able to recommend another breeder local to you who might help

As Lady D says, if you are going to show him he should never be clipped. Show Westies have their coat done differently - you will need to be shown how to do it by a specialist.
