my dog is still bleeding after she mated.can they bleed after mating if they are prgnant?or does the bleeding mean that she is not?
Bitches are in season for three to four weeks regardless of whether they are mated. Some bleed for a few days, some for the whole time but it is usual to get lighter around the time they are ready for mating and then stop a week or so later.

Hi wonder woman, how many times was she mated? If it was only once, yesterday or the day before I would take her back for another mating asap to see if she is still willing. Its normal to be offered 2 matings. Though if she stood happily for him she probably will take - all other things being equal - ie they're both free from infection and both fertile and nothing happens to dispel the pregnacy.

Hi Wonder Woman i mated my boxer bitch on her eleventh day, and she carried on bleeding for a further seven to ten days, when i mated her her discharge was a light pinky colour, then after a few days she went darker. She ended up having a healthy litter of nine, and all survived good luck let me know how you get on Doreen
