hi rachel
what breed of pooch have you got? i have a newfie and they are a must ! i also have a gsd and now feed him from a stand as well.My breeder (newf) insists you must feed them from a higher level.they both seem to prefer their food from chest level and i do hope to help prevent bloat by this method as well as others.I bought a double stand and bowls for each so they could have water and food they cost about £16 each from wilsons pets.A cheap and easy way to try this way of feeding is a bucket with a round washing up bowl placed over the rim.Hope this helps if you have a large/giant breed of dog.
