Hi
We Are the owners of 3 beautiful newfies. 2 black and a Landseer. We are very curious about brown and whites. We have heard that if any are born they are put down by breeders as they do not meet the breed standard. IS THIS TRUE ???? If it is I would gladly take any of these dogs which are born and pay any costs that the breeder may incur before hand over. I would also pay to have them spayed or castrated before they were passed to me to prevent these dogs being used for breeding.

They can't
all be put down at birth, because there was one as a co-star in the recent TV series "Dangerous Davies".

Brown and white newfies are a big no no in the breed , they are not put down at birth they are a throw back and every now and agin one will pop up, but they are not shown or bred from but people still do water work and enjoy them.
