does anyone know the cost roughly in euros of getting my gsd spayed.
i have heard that you should allow her to have 1 set of pups first to help settle her down and better her tempermeant is this true or nonsence.

The story about letting her have a litter of pups first is total and utter nonsense. You would be wise to let her have a season first, and have her spayed about 3 months afterwards. Good luck.

Edit: I don't know where in Europe you are, and vet prices will vary tremendously country to country, but in the South of England a large bitch spay is quoted as about £130 - that must be about 175 Euros.

I don't know about the cost in Euros, but most vets recommend spaying after the first season. I think the 'let her have one litter to settle her down' theory is very much an old wives tale, and you shouldn't breed from your bitch until she's at least 2yrs old. Hope this helps :)
