I have a young GSD bitch and she's quite lively and active. Now that we are decorating the house I won't be able to spend as much time with her as usual (still the walks of course). How can I keep her busy? I don't want her to get bored.... so I need several different things to "kill" her time. I know of the "biscuit ball" where the biscuits fall out of the little whole when she pushes it around. But what else is there? Please think of as many things as possible.... I will need it :-) Thanks.

Have you tried Kongs - whee you insert food goodies and the dog has to figure out how to get to it ? Keeps them amused for a while .
Or maybe plastic lemonade or milk bottles which they love to chew and they like the noise ?

Egg boxes can hide little treats, or use a bigger box with old paper or something to cover up toys or food. Huge rawhide chews. We've tied a tuggy toy to the kitchen door for the dog to pull against himself and hung up a CD where it catches the light so he can chase the dazzles. You could pay a child to blow bubbles for her - we use resident kids for this and our dog loves chasing them. Videos of Pet Rescue as a last resort?
