Hi one of my bulldog boys are going in on Friday to be castrated as i dont show him any more and he has never been used at stud because i didnt think he was good enough, so to stop him getting upset around the females i have to have it done, but now it is close i am a bit worried about him(but i know my vet is good) so fingers crossed he will be okay? jackie :-<

hi jackie,
my bully recovered fine from her spay last week, so i am sure your boy will be fine.
Good Luck. :)
Jane.
Hi Jackie I empathise - when my dog was done I was so nervous I demanded to know if it was our vet himself operating and felt a pang as a brisk nurse took my darling away quickly. God bless vet nurses for reassuring owners with good sense. The boy was fine but I was so glad when I could phone the surgery for an update! Keep telling yourself its to cure his frustration and keep busy on the big day. The vet wouldn't agree to operate unless s/he was sure it would be OK

Well i took boatswain in for his op i was very worried as it is so hot again today but we gave him a pre-med and i left well 1 hour later vet rings dog is so hot even in the cool room so he doesnt think it is worth doing until the weather cools down, so bring him back home balls an all but at least he is okay, so until the next time jackie.
Poor you what a build up to nothing! Still shows the vet is conscientious and maybe allay yur nerves a bit - when is he booked in again?
