hi,i have a 14 week old akita pup.i have had her 6 weeks now and after 2 days she was trained to go out the back to the toilet.now that i am taking her out for a couple of short walks a day i want her to get used to going to the toilet when on these walks.at the minute she has stopped pooing out the back and only does this when taken for a walk, but as soon as we come back she rushes out the back and pees.is there any way that i can get her to do this while out for a walk.any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can soak up some of the pee on newspaper and leave it down in the area where you walk your pup. (Of course, you need to pick it up on the way home!) If she smells her own scent she may decide to pee.
My puppy would not pee on our walks until she was close to 6 months old and her hormones went into action. Many pups will not pee outside home territory because it's dangerous - they are young, vulnerable and do not want to alert anyone that they are around. When they get older the opposite happens. They want to leave their scent to alert other dogs and animals that they are in their territory.
Personally, I would just wait and let nature takes its course.

Problem, most people prefer their dogs to go in the back yard as it is easier to pick up and causes less offence to others. Have tried to stop mine going on their walk, with little success, so I don't know how you would do it. Expect that when she is older she will pee on her walk as she will want other dogs to know that she is around. At the moment she may feel safer peeing at home. You are only walking for a very short distance aren't you, she does not need a lot of walking yet.
at the moment i am taking her for 3 x10 minute walks a day,but i am taking her to her first puppy class tonight so that she will get used to other dogs.
