My puppy has fishing smelling urine and always dribbles a little when excited. Could this indicate a health problem or is it normal?

The dribbling when excited can be pretty normal....but the fishy smelling urine isn't. Take her to the vet....it's worth getting it checked out.

Ask the vet to check the protein levels.

Thanks, it may be the protein levels, I have a hard time trying to get her to eat right. She follows my little boy around eating froot loops all day. All the extra sugar might explain the over excitment also. lol. I had to bottle feed her and hand feed her because the mother dog refused to let her nurse and almost killed her by biting her muzzle and leaving a bad gash on her stop. She still has a scar. She seems emotionally unaffected by this though. Thanks again, She hasn't been to the vet since she was 2 weeks old.
