You need help to find a SUITABLE stud dog. Just any other of the same breed is not good enough! Assuming that your bitch is a good example of her breed, and has had all the relevant health checks completed satisfactorily, then your bitch's breeder would be a good place to ask for advice.

If for some reason you have lost contact with your bitches breeder try contacting one of the breeds secretarys who will be able to introduce you to people who own standard wire hair dachs. There are not that many of the breed in the UK but more than enough for you to find one that may be suitable for your bitch, providing, of course, you bitch is of sufficient quality.
